
Overview
This vehicle presented with steering pull, high-speed vibration, and uneven tire wear patterns. An initial road test confirmed instability under load, followed by a comprehensive chassis inspection to rule out worn suspension components, wheel imbalance, and brake-related vibration. Using high-precision alignment equipment, we measured the vehicle’s suspension geometry and identified out-of-spec camber, caster, and toe values consistent with gradual shift over time and normal road impacts. The objective was to restore factory handling characteristics, improve straight-line stability, and prevent accelerated tire wear.
What We Fixed
A complete four-wheel alignment was performed to manufacturer specifications. This included a full geometry scan, baseline measurements, and controlled adjustments to bring camber, caster, and toe back within tolerance. Each change was verified through repeated measurements to ensure accuracy and consistency. We also inspected steering and suspension attachment points, checked for bushing play, verified tire condition and pressure, and ensured proper steering wheel centering after calibration. Final settings were documented and validated with a post-service road test to confirm correct on-road behavior.
Result
After calibration, the vehicle returned to smooth, predictable handling with improved straight-line tracking and more consistent steering response. High-speed vibration was eliminated, cornering stability improved, and the vehicle no longer drifted or pulled during normal driving. Tire contact patch alignment was restored, reducing the likelihood of irregular wear and extending tire life. Overall, the vehicle now drives with the precision and confidence expected from a correctly aligned suspension system.
